Do Retailers Know More Than Consumers?

If you look at the GameStop site, they've got Nintendo Wii Console accessories being on sale from 1st November.

Accessories such as the Wii Game Wallet, Wii G-Pak Travel Case, Wii Controller Glove, Wii Memory SD 512MB whereas some of the games have release dates that differ and conform to the usual incremental release that normally happens with new consoles.

So is this the date? Or are they different because they're supplied by third parties? We may find out very soon.
