October 18th - Wii Console Release!

Does Game know something that we don't? Yep! But you know it now.

Apparently Mario will be at the Game's Oxford Street store this Friday to sign autographs between noon and 4pm whilst the shoppers wait for the official announcement.

The first 18 to get the signatures will win the Super Mario Bros game whilst the next 10 will win a Mario T-shirt.

Robert Quinn, Sales Director at GAME said, "Customers have been waiting a long time to hear specific details about the hotly anticipated console, the Nintendo Wii, so we've given them a recognisable industry figure to keep them entertained whilst they wait."

But look at the numbers 18,10 - 18th 10th? - 18th October? Surely not? Will we be expecting sales to begin that day? Why else would they choose a seemingly random number like 18?
