Here we'll list the shops that allow you to pre-order the Nintendo Wii Console as they happen.There are many shops that will take your email address and email you when the Wii Console comes on sale. But here's a list showing some of the most proven online stores that should offer the Wii for as cheap as you may find it in the UK.

I've never pre-ordered a console before, so... any thoughts on which retailer is likely to be my best bet for actually getting a Wii on or near the release date? Also, is reserving on-line better than reserving in my local shop?
HMV, Definatly mate! especially if your a student you can get 10% off everything you buy!!
and if your looking for extra controllers, HMV gives you the wii mote and nunchuku for around 36 pounds, while other retailers will cost you 45 pounds!!
i mean, i already orderd mine from there with a bunch of games andcontrollers and saved 40 pounds! total order was around (400!)

I pre-orderd via play.com on the first day or pre-orders, however I received an e-mail yesteday stating that due to european shortages they will not have any until the new year.
Other sites I found good for pre-orders for the Wii (I have two on order), is "dabs" and "argos", "woolworths" even allow you to pick up from store.
However I doubt at this stage you will be able to pre-order and g'tee you will have your console on the 8th Dec.
ive gone with argos and it will arrive on the day of the 8th apparantly!
How does studio get a 5/5 rating?
Im confused.....
6/12/06, I decide to make a move for a wii. So, I call Studio to pre-order. They tell me that they have them in stock and I will have it before XMAS - no problem. I call again 2 days later to double check and again, I am reassured that I will get it.
However, the postman delivers a nice wee letter today telling me that they were unable to get it in stock. Hmmm, looks like someone has been telling me porky pies. Should have just gone to the shop.

We've just removed Studio as we've had the same problems. I'm going through all the sites now and working out the current situation.
I'll also try and contact them and see when they're coming back in.
