Will We Get the Same Deal as Americans?
So the details of the Nintendo Wii Console are out in the States and are due to come out here after lunch.
The American's had the details of the prices and package released yesterday, so what do they get?
Well for $249.99 (about £145) gamers get the console, a collection of five sports games on one disk, a wireless remote controller and one Nunchuck controller.
Also more details have emerged about the interface. Like MP3 Players these days "social networking" has been featured. For instance you can send photos around as well as checking the news or weather. We're not sure why you'll be interested in the weather, who cares if the sun is beating down when you've games to play?
And now its time for the Nintendo marketing speak - we thought you may be interested:
"Wii reinvents games for the devoted player," says Nintendo of America resident Reggie Fils-Aime. "But more importantly, Wii breaks the wall separating players from non-players by delivering the best game experiences for the most affordable price. We believe the next leap is games for the masses -- young and old, gamer or non, alone, with a friend or with the whole family."
